Advertising and Ethics
According to the American Marketing Association, advertising is any paid form of a non-personal presentation of ideas, goods or services by an identified sponsor. Ethics, on the other hand, is the generally accepted moral principles and standards, against which thre behavior is judged in a society or country (Bootwala et al., 2007). It is often a judgment based on fairness, equality, honesty and integrity.
